This test kit will give you accurate results for six important pool parameters:

free chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, cyanuric acid, sodium chloride and phosphates

Even Though your salt generator may monitor and report the salt level automatically, it is a good idea to check the salt level at least once a month with an alternative method. This is because most salt generators require occasional calibration and cleaning. In addition to a monthly salt test, you should test the free chlorine, pH, total alkalinity and cyanuric acid twice a week, to determine whether you need to add phosphate remover, will help you prevent algae growth.

The AquaChek® Salt Generator Kit combines three separate tests, packaged together in one box. The kit contains one bottle of AquaChek® Yellow, which tests for free chlorine, pH, total alkalinity and cyanuric acid; one bottle of AquaChek® Salt Titrators, which test for sodium chloride; and 20 Aquatrend Phosphate tests, which test for phosphates in pool water.
